My interest in Medical/Health science spans as far as I can remember.

From a younger age,

I had the passion towards the medical profession which enabled me to successfully complete
my Bachelors in Medicine and Surgery. Schooling onwards my medium of education was
English and I been so fortunate to achieve excellent grades throughout my academics so far,
such as Central Board of Secondary Education – 80%; Higher Secondary Examination –
92%; Bachelors in Medicine & Surgery – GPA 3.5. Now I’m planning to pursue Master’s
Degree in Public Health at the University of East London, since I am particularly keen to
equip myself more into management competency as well as research techniques which
eventually cement my knowledge and skills for a healthier community. My interest in these
areas was first aroused during my undergraduate studies at Medical Academy where I
studied Bachelors in Medicine and Surgery, honored as General Physician in year xxxx. As
I been preparing for PLAB examinations to get GMC registration, I got a year gap from my
graduation date. However, I think gaining a masters particularly in Public Health will aid me
to escalate my career skills with wide range of opportunities within health care sector. From
the research on this master’s program I can understand, your course not only covers
managerial aspects but also will introduce me to the new areas within health sector which
covers core modules of epidemiology, health promotion and global health which will
broaden my knowledge and understanding of the topic as a whole.

In this digital era, United Kingdom stands as a prime example to the rest of the world in
terms of health care with its various policies and procedures in place and effective
management tools, which definitely attracts every health professional to look up to UK. This
paved affinity in me towards this masters’ program at UEL. By opting this postgraduate
program, I’m looking forward to gain management competencies alongside esteemed
professors before venturing out into the real world. I also believe these managerial skill sets
will enable myself in formulation/adopting and executing various health policies and
practices during my future endeavors. Moreover, program will help to gain practical
knowledge on several techniques of research and provide a better view on multi-
dimensional nature of health. Utilizing the skills I have learned during my undergraduate
course and with the aid of this postgraduate program, I believe I can make effective
contribution to health sector and to my community. So I would like to conclude by
requesting you to grant me the offer to study in University of East London.

I firmly believe The University of East London would help me achieve my professional and
personal goals of advancing my public health education through the distinctive coursework
offered as part of its MSc public Health Programme. I welcome the challenge of serving a
large community and participating in such a dynamic and challenging field.

I hereby submitting my application to undertake MSc Public Health as next step towards my
medical/healthcare career. I do expect a favorable response at the earliest.
