ACTIVITY PROPOSAL

I. TITLE : Ani ng Sining, Bayang Malikhain

II. PROPONENTS: Evelyn N. Gonzalvo and MAPEH teachers of Los Baños National High School-BM
( San Antonio Annex)

III. PERSONS INVOLVED: LBNHS(BM) San Antonio Annex Teaching and Non-teaching Personnel,
Barangay San Antonio Chairman, Councilors and students

IV. TIME FRAME : February 20 -29, 2024

V. RATIONALE:

Pursuant to the Regional Memorandum No.47 s. 2024, anchored from the Presidential
Proclamation NO. 683, s. 2019 for the celebration of the National Arts Month on February, 2024 with
the theme “Ani Ng Sining Bayang Malikhain” ( Harvest of the Creative Nation), the MAPEH teachers
of LBNHS-BM( San Antonio Annex) will conduct art activities to showcase learners’ skills and talents
in the form of art exhibit and art performances that will help students’ confidence.

VI. OBJECTIVES:

 To inform the learners the importance of unity, understanding and a deeper appreciation for
the arts
 To celebrate artistic excellence and pay tribute to the uniqueness and diversity of Filipino
heritage and culture
 To improve and enhance the skill and talents of learners
 To conduct a school-level performance-based output that corresponds to the appropriate
MAPEH’s Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELCs)

VIII. CONTEST MECHANICS

A. DUO ( a singer and an instrumentalist)

This competition is open to all students of LBNHS-BM (San Antonio Annex). The students will
be screened by MAPEH teachers and will choose three duo in each grade level to perform on
 February 29, 2024. They can choose OPM (Filipino or English) which lasted for 3 minutes
only.

B. Poster Making
This competition is for the students selected by their MAPEH teachers with the theme: Ani
ng Sining Bayang Malikhain using an Illustration board and coloring material such as crayon
and pastel.

C. MAPEH Quiz Bee

This will be participated by one representative in each section. There will be a separate quiz
bee contest in each level. The questions will covered the first and second grading of MAPEH
subject.

VIII. BUDGET/FUND:
The expenses for this activity will be shouldered by MAPEH teachers and a solicitation from
people who are willing to help this activity to be carried out properly.
