Present Perfect je veoma važno vreme u engleskom jeziku. Koristi se za izražavanje prošle radnje koje se još nije završila i ima uticaja ili se nastavlja u sadašnjosti. Veoma je važno da dobro savladamo Present Perfect aktiv da bi pravilno mogli da napravimo i koristimo pasiv. Present Perfect active se gradi: pomoćni glagol have + past particip glavnog glagola ( glagol + ed ili 3 kolona, lista nepravilnig glagola) Present Perfect pasiv se gradi:
1. has/ have + been + 2. past participle
Present Perfect pasiv – tabela jednina množina 1. I have been given We have been given 2. You have been given You have been given 3. He has been given She has been given They have been given It has been given Najčešće se koriste skraćeni oiblici – tabela jednina množina I’ve been given We’ve been given You’ve been given You’ve been given He’s been given She’s been given They’ve been given It’s been given Upitni oblik se pravi inverzijom – pomoćni glagol have je na prvom mestu: Has he been given Odrični oblik dodavanjem not He has not/He hasn’t been given Present Perfect pasiv upotreba London has been visited by people from all over the world. 1. People from all over the world – subjekat aktivne rečenice, u pasivnoj se dodaje by 2. London – objekat aktivne rečenice postaje subjekat pasivne Pasiv je veoma čest u engleskom jeziku. Koristimo ga kada iz nekog razloga subjekat aktivne rečenice nije poznat, neodređen je ili nije bitan. Ako pogledamo primer: London posećuje puno ljudi sa svih strana sveta. Poenta onoga šta želimo da kažemo u ovoj rečenici je da je London turistička destinacija i da London grad trpi radnju – poste ljudi, koji dolaze sa svih stran sveta. Pravilo: samo prelazni glagoli, oni koji u aktivnoj rečenici imaju objekat, mogu da grade pasiv. Primer: I have finished the job. Aktivna rečenica, ja sam obavila posao. I, ja – subjekat The job, posao – objekat. Želimo da istaknemo da je posao obavljen, o njemu pričamo, važan nam je iz nekog razloga, koristimo pasivnu rečenicu.
Present Perfect pasiv pravila:
1. objekat aktivne rečenice, the job, postaje subjekat pasivne 2. vreme korišćeno u aktivnoj rečenici ostaje isto, prebacuje se u pasiv, vidi tabelu 3. upotrebiti odgovarajući oblik Present Perfect. Pošto više nije subjekat I, ja nego, posao job koristimo oblik za 3. Lice jednine, vidi tabelu 4. subjekat aktivne rečenice dobija by ili se izostavlja ako nije bitan. The job(1) has been finished (2.-3.) by me (4).
