ORAL REPORT:
1. Discuss the following topics:
a. Behaviorist learning Theory
b. Cognitive Learning Theory
c. Social Learning Theory
d. Psychodynamic Learning Theory
e. Humanistic Learning Theory
2. Divide this among yourselves (If you are ten, do it by partner: 1 theory, 2 reporters)
3. Your report should contain/ present the following:
a. Brief introduction of the theorist/s
b. Why are the theories applicable to health education? Discuss the basic principles of learning
advocated by the theories, site examples applicable to education/ health education/ nursing
care.
c. Discuss fundamental procedures for changing behavior
d. The assumptions made about the learner
e. The role of the educator
f. The source of motivation for learning
g. The ways in which learning is transferred to new situations and problems/ transfer of learning
h. Other information that will be relevant to the discussion.
4. Prepare your visual aid/ materials.
5. Submit a summary of your report (Typed, Font Calibri 11 in A4 sized paper, write the title of your
report and the names of the reporters/ presenters).
6. Allotted time for each group: 15 minutes only.
7. Present yourselves in proper decorum; Prepare for questioning/ critiquing.
8. Sequence of presentations will be determined on the actual day (Friday-December 14, 2018, exactly
5:00PM). Reporter/s who failed to report on that day will no longer be allowed to report the following
day.
