Introduction:

CNC is the abbreviation of Computerized Numerical Control for its acronym in English.
This technology is applicable to all types of companies that require automated processes
to improve production time. The CNC machine is used in various industries at an
international level, which shows that these machines are versatile and easy to use.

Any machine that is operated by a computer or a computer program is considered a CNC

machine, so there are different types of machinery depending on the type of work and
need that you have. Most of these machines are programmed through CAD software .

A CNC machine is programmed in two different ways, which may have different
languages or ways of working. The most common methods of programming that we can
find are the following:

Manual methods:

The reasoning is transcribed or placed by an operator. This programming is the source

that allows the automatic mechanization of all the machinery.

Automatic methods:

The calculations are made directly by a computer, from data supplied in a data. The codes
are translated into a language that the machine decodes, thus allowing mobility and
compliance with all the functions required by the operator.

In order to operate and program a CNC controlled machine, a basic understanding of

machining practices and a working knowledge of math is necessary.

Therefore once you know the basic principles of operation of a CNC machine, we proceed
to start and establish a basic programming that has been explained by a teacher
beforehand.
Objetives:

 Know the use and operation of a cnc machine

 Establish initial conditions to start the machination stage

 Apply basic programming functions.
