Dear Sir,

I am a Bachelor in Civil Engineering from India, Masters in Business Administration and one year
Certificate Course in Arbitration from South Africa. In addition, I have Certificate Course on Trade
Finance Infrastructure Development, Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM)
certification course from the National Contract Management Association and Federal Acquisition
Regulation Training Course from University of California and certification in Contract Law from
University of Harvard. My six months dissertation during my Masters was on Project Management
Problems their Frequency, Cause and Impact on Project duration and cost as related to internationally
funded projects, and specifically for Water Supply Projects in Mozambique). The summary of my
expertise is as follows:

 About 25 years of working experience in Procurement and Contract Management in different

sectors such as Electricity, Road, Water, Health, Education, Private Sector Development and
Industries and worked for sustainable infrastructure projects.
 I have been associated with many international funded projects as Procurement and Contract I
have been working in a supervisory position since year 2000 and lead team of 2 to 24
procurement persons/Engineers during these times on various projects (Except during April
2003 to October 2004).
 I was a member of the Institution of Surveyor (includes quantity surveyor) in the year 1993,
then was an Associate member of the Association of Arbitrators (Southern Africa), South
Africa and member of the National Contract Management Institute, USA.
 Extensive experience in working with International Funded Projects such as the World Bank,
Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC – a US funding), African Development Bank,
Asian Development Bank, European Investment Bank and knowledge of their procurement
procedures and policies.
 Experience in Project Preparation, Project Planning, implementation and project closing.
 Prepare Procurement Plan, Procurement Implementation Plan and update Procurement
Performance Report.
 I have extensive experience in Procurement Audit and have been part of the
Independent Procurement Review Team for World Bank funded Projects in Yemen and India.
 I am equally well versed in procurement and contract management of goods, works and
services including consultancy service and have a very good understanding of FIDIC
Conditions of Contracts.
 Risk assessment, and actions to be taken for likely consequence of the risk.
 Prepared Procurement Operational Manual, Procurement Manuals, Procurement Guidelines,
Standard Bidding Documents and provided feedback and finalized Contract Administration
Manual.
 Experience in working with various stakeholders such as Project Implementing Unit,
Consultant, Contractor, Supplier, Beneficiary and Funding Agency in relation to Project
Procurement.
  I always try to learn new technology and enhance my knowledge to carry out my works with
better efficiency.

Presently I am working as a Senior Procurement Specialist on XXXXXXXXXXXXXX project

from Procurement Agent side.
