“MATHEMATICS AND CHEMISTRY TUTORIAL AND LIVELIHOOD PROJECT”

REFLECTION

Last January 19, 2019, a tutorial for chemistry course and making a liquid detergent was
conducted for Senior High School students of Jose Abad Santos High School. The goal is to give these
students a glimpse or a taste of Chemical Engineering knowledge and to motivate them to be interested in
Chemical Engineering program.

A mathematical tutorial and a quiz show were held last January 26, 2019 where the students have
widened their knowledge about the said topic. It was a fun and memorable experience for the Senior High
School students.

In this outreach program, we’ve learned that tutorial or teaching is more than its job. It includes the
feeling of fulfillment and knowing that other people learned something valuable from you is priceless.
