good and important organization in its work.

Internship at sreerama scaffolding pvt.ltd has been a

great exposure for the practical application of my
learning. I gained knowledge about actual workculture
of the company and how to deal with the people at
work place.

About company
The Sreerama Group started in 1999, is
manufacturing and supplying various construction
equipment’s like props, spans, centering boards,
scaffoldings etc., which replaces conventional method
of using bamboos and wood for making from works in
civil construction projects. Construction industry is
now facing the challenges of high labour cost and
labour management problem which now, could be
solved to a considerable extent by the use of these
equipment’s.
The Sreerama Group has been at the forefront of
taking building construction dreams to new heights.
It was set up in 1999 the Palakkad based firm has
been manufacturing and supplying various
construction equipment like props, spans, centering
boards and scaffolding etc.
The company has its manufacturing unit located
on the Palakkad pollachi road in Kerala which offers a
wide range of state of the art facilities for the
construction industry.
The company which has been a reliable partner
for the construction industry adheres to the policy of
supplyingquality products at the right price and

assures delivery strictly as per commitments. Being a
central excise licensed unit and also having central
sakes tax registration, the company is in a position to
cater to the need of users from all over the country.
The company has a capacity to manufacture
various civil construction supporting equipment’s to
the extent of 4 lakh sq. ft. area per month. its customer
profile consists of most of the reputed construction
companies from across the country.
Finally,meritoriously, we were honored by the
directorate of industries and commerce, government of
Kerala, with the best entrepreneurship award for the
year 2004-2005 for outstanding performance.
Sreerama Group could grew as leading
manufacturer and supplier of scaffolding equipment’s
in a short span of time. The frequent survey carried out
by the various local government management
functionaries rated us as the best for consistent service
to the customer directly sans intermediaries,
ultimately that lead us towards success. The vision of
the organization is to remain at the top in the minds of
the customers and business associated as trustworthy
partner forever.

Some of its product includes:
Shuttering equipment:
 Adjustable props to support beams and slabs from
the ground and floor level. Telescopic props can
bear the necessary load and can be locked at any
desired length using a malleable cast iron nut and
lock.
 Adjustable spans to support centering plates,
beam bottoms etc without any intermediate
support. Manufactured from 14g hot rolled
MSsheet, MS road, t-angle together one outer and
one sliding inner to give variable length of span
and lock in any position.
 Centering plate floor forms to cast floor and
beams. These are manufactured from 14 g(mm)hot
rolled MSsheet, pressed on four sides and
provided with box stiffeners and gusset plates on
the corners for rigidity.

Scaffoldings:

 Cup lock scaffold system is used to support steel

as well as timber formworks. Simplicity and the
speed of eriction makes it the most economical
and widely used scaffolding system in the world.
This can be used for access work where the
loading of scaffolds is light and for heavy loading
applications like formwork also.no special skills
are required to erect and dismantle the system.
 Lattice form model which is used for multipurpose
uses like supporting slabs, beams, staging of bridges
etc. The lattice inside the frame facilitates easy
climbing and the clearance in the frame provides an
easy walk way on the floor.
 Universal frame model which is used for plastering,
painting and external access works. A heavy duty
model is used for multipurpose uses like supporting
slabs, beams, staging, for bridges, builders hoists outer
tower.
