Dear Parents,

Hello! I hope you enjoyed your weekend. Thank you to

everyone who signed up to bring in supplies and treats for
our valentine celebration. We will be celebrating
Valentine’s Day on Thursday by exchanging valentines, and
of course eating some treats! Your child may bring their
valentine’s in anytime before Thursday. 

Hopefully, we will be back on our regular weekly

schedule. In reading our story is “I’m a Caterpillar.” We
will be learning about r-controlled vowels-er, ir, and ur,
contractions, verbs, fact and opinion and the life cycle
of a butterfly. We will take our reading and spelling test
on Friday, February 15. In Math we will continue working
on Topic 9-Comparing and Ordering Numbers to 100.
