Glue or double-sided tape
Scissors or craft knife

(Preparation) Enter into ScanNCutCanvas the activation code on the card (Figure 1) included
with the optional embossing starter kit, and then finish activating the Embossing function.
Then, update the software of the machine to the latest version, and also enable the emboss
function (Figure 2) of the machine. For details, refer to the instructions included with the kit.

 (1) Cut out parts A through C.

 (2) Temporarily attach the pattern on the last page to A, attach them to the embossing mat,
and then scan using the background scanning function. Align the drawing data for A and the
scanned pattern. (For details, refer to the instructions included with the kit.)

(3) Remove the temporarily attached pattern, and then perform line embossing. (For details,
refer to the instructions included with the kit.)

 (4) Fold A and B along the dotted lines as shown below.

(5) Glue together parts B and C-1 and parts C-2 and C-3 as shown below.

 (6) Stack A on top of B and glue together, as shown below.

(7) Secure the message card in the inside slits, fold closed, and then wrap with the ribbon
and tie it.

 [Actual-size layout pattern] Print out this page, and then cut along the outer frame with
scissors or a craft knife. Use this to position the embossing pattern.
