TRAINING VIDEO CD CONTENT AND TIME

LENGTH
Video notes: The videos contain sound, so make sure to turn your computer’s speakers on
during use of the CD. These video files do not require a special player for them to run,
and are played in “full-screen” mode (alt + Enter). To access the player’s functions
(pause, stop, fast-forward etc.) hit the “Esc.” Key while the video is playing.

INTRODUCTION TO SYSTEM PAGE

1. CP/TP Gview (13:39 41,621K) This video describes the geometry view,
construction plane, and tool plane in Mastercam, and how to change them. The
levels manager is also discussed.
2. Job Setup (7:55 18,883K) This video discusses the use of the Job Setup in
Mastercam including using the materials library.
3. Operations Manager (9:53 26,199K) The operations manager is shown. Group
operations, copying toolpaths are discussed.

4. Exercise 1 (9:34 22,866K) This is a simple 2D drawing exercise using several
line creation methods.

5. Exercise 2 (5:30 12,825K) This exercise uses polar lines for construction
geometry. The Xform Rotate function is used.

Several methods of arc creation are used.

imported into Mastercam (Under Mastercam’s Main Menu: File/Converters/IGES). Use
