Comments on foundation stress

Regarding analysis of stress caused by external load and allowable stress I can give following
comments :
 Allowable stress for raft foundation in accordance with Geoemechanical Report
is 179 kN/m2 which is value for raft foundation B>6 m (See Par. 6.1 )
 In this case all stresses are under this limit.
 Allowable stress in Geomechanical Report are calculated using only result from
penetration test which are usually lower that result given by another methods.
Design bearing resistance is calculated in accordance EN 1997-1:2004 and attached
 Design bearing resistance is 1.57 times greater than design value of
action.

Conclusion
Stress caused by external loads and weight of structure are less than alowable stress.
All setlement which are calculated in accordance with strong requirments are inside
prescribed limits.
