Kastila ng Katipunan

Philippine revolutionary society founded by anti-Spanish colonialism Filipinos in Manila in 1892;

its primary goal was to gain independence from Spain through a revolution. Bonifacio bring

them into the realms of the KKK to fight for our country and to rebel against the spaniards. At

first, Katipunan was purely a patriotic society for men until the section for women was

established in the society to become admitted, one must be a wife, a daughter, or a sister of a

male katipunero. It was estimated that from 20 to 50 women had become members of the

society. The Katipunan's existence was revealed to the Spanish authorities after a member

named Teodoro Patiño revealed the Katipunan's illegal activities to his sister, and finally to the

mother portress of Mandaluyong Orphanage. Seven days after the Spanish authorities learned

of the existence of the secret society, on December 26, 1896, Bonifacio and his men tore up

their cédulas during the City of Balintawak that started the Philippine Revolution of 1896.

Spanish colony have an impact to our history almost 333 years of staying in our country and all

the Filipino suffered. As shown above, many concerned Filipino groups like La liga Filipina and

Katipunan, those time they aimed to end the Spanish colony by doing many different techniques

like non violent acts, wrote books and newspapers to exposed the evil works of Spaniards and

when Jose Rizal died the katipuneros did aggressive moves to end the evil works of the

Spaniards. Myriad's of Filipinos suffered too much in the ancient time even womens

participated to end up the unequal treatment to the Filipinos, especially in the time when

Spaniards conquest our country, where you can't barely see the freedom and the privileges of

the people to their own homeland. Until fearless patriots abruptly prove that there is a big

chance that Philippines, our homeland can stand on their own. All of the sudden their
contribution lead us to claim what is ours. Spaniards put hardships in the Filipino but it is also

the reason why we became united. Freedom Is the power or right to act speak or think as one

wants without hindrane or restraint. Now a days all of us have freedom to choice speak what

we want to convey through new papers, news, and even in social media. Some of us used social

media to change and correct the wrong doing of others because we have a freedom. Freedom

to correct mistakes. Spanish has a big part in our history since we colonized by them for three

hundred ang thirty-three years. During that time, we became slaves in our own country and we

are controlled by them, Now we have freedom to speak from what is wrong in our society,

freedom to express our opinions and freedom to make a better community. All we need to do is

appreciate all the sacrifices of all Filipino heroes that died to get our Freedom and maybe the

one who can do what they have done to our country and countrymen.
