1 Failure of HHP and ALCO Diesel HHP loco equipment failure investigation are being done
Locomotives during 2018-19 (till Feb and the reports are being updated accordingly, the extra

7 Action plan for locomotives under heavy Clutch Assy, Turbo Assy received from
repair to make these locos in working DLW and 2nd Phase 4 Nos. Turbo are on the
condition way from DLW. Brake Valve Controller
procurement is under process.

8 Availability of critical instruments and Pneumatic Barring Machine & Pneumatic


machine in Diesel Shed and its status Torquing Machine Main Bearing and
P/Assy are required to reduce the effort in
torquing and to ensure adequate torquing.
9 Any other pertaining issues related to Turbo, Clutch and Lube Oil Cooler failed
reliability and maintenance of Diesel pre-maturely without completing its life
locomotives cycle and these failures are frequent. In Air
Brake system, Brake Valve Controllers are
in acute crisis because of which they are not
being replaced in their due schedule time
because of which the locos are getting
troubled on line.
