Locomotives during 2018-19 (till Feb and the reports are being updated accordingly, the extra

way from DLW. Brake Valve Controller
procurement is under process.

8 Availability of critical instruments and Pneumatic Barring Machine & Pneumatic

machine in Diesel Shed and its status Torquing Machine Main Bearing and
P/Assy are required to reduce the effort in
torquing and to ensure adequate torquing.
9 Any other pertaining issues related to
reliability and maintenance of Diesel
locomotives
Turbo, Clutch and Lube Oil Cooler failed
pre-maturely without completing its life
cycle and these failures are frequent. In Air
Brake system, Brake Valve Controllers are
in acute crisis because of which they are not
being replaced in their due schedule time
because of which the locos are getting
troubled on line.
