REFLECTION PAPER
(eq)
Honestly, for me, Earthquake Engineering is one of the most difficult subject
among our subjects I have taken all throughout my college life as an Engineering
student. This semester has really been a roller coaster ride for me because of the
pressure that we have experienced since we are already in the higher year and we are
a step closer to reaching our dreams.

Before anything else, I would like to share that this course really tough as it
requires knowledge on other engineering subjects that we have already taken.
Oftentimes, I tend to forget what to do because I have been very nervous every time I
answer assessment tasks like quizzes and examinations which has resulted me to
panic. I think I have to work on how to remain calm and focus upon seeing the
questionnaires.

Fortunately, the Teaching and Learning Activities like presentations, handouts,

critical thinking activities, exams, quizzes and assignments have helped me a lot
especially the handouts because it is easier to understand but one problem I see is that
sometimes, there has been a confusion because the way of answering the questions in
the critical thinking activities is somewhat different from the book. Other than that, the
handouts have been really helpful when it comes to the learning of the students. I would
also like to commend the way how our professor have thought the topics because we
can really see how the solution works.

Lastly, the quizzes and exams in this course have been very consistent in terms
of the level of difficulty. After answering every assessment tasks, I felt like I was already
drained. I understand that it is for us to be fond of answering difficult questions because
same or even more difficult questions will be given to us as we take the board exam.
