Summary of the Lesson Students will learn the components


that are related to lesson
preparation and building
background. I will explain some
strategies used to help ELL
students. Throughout the lesson
there will be questions for the
students. They will be asked to use
the information they learned and
answer questions.

Procedure BEFORE:.
-When students walk in the
Ganye’s Conditions of classroom there will be a the
Learning. objectives written on the board
DURING:
-First I will explain what the SIOP
model is.
-Next I will explain what
components are related to lesson
preparation . I will ask the students
questions and try to draw on their
prior knowledge
-I will ask the students to share
their thoughts.
-I will do the same when explaining
building backgrounds
· I will ask if they have any
questions or concerns.
AFTER:
I will ask the students 2 questions
at the end of the lesson to see if
the objectives were met.
