    April 2019 Pilgrim Crier Greetings Friends in Christ, Can you believe it? The 50’s are really coming and the large mounds of snow will continue to melt away! I don’t know about you, but I thought it was going to be here until June at least! Yet, here we are in the midst of the Lenten Season. A time of waiting, reflecting, sitting with our God while we here the stories of Jesus leading up to Jerusalem. We also are continuing our joumey with the mid-week Lenten ‘Theme: “Perfect Love Casts out Fear” Holy week is coming April 14 -20. Then, Easter on the 21° Services will be held on Palm Sunday, with the children helping with the Palms. There will be a meal on Maundy Thursday followed by the service of the journey of Jesus leading to the betrayal. If you would like to attend a Good Friday Service here are some options: Osseo Evangelical Lutheran Church - Good Friday Services @ 12:00 PM & 6:00 PM Peace Lutheran Church ~ Pigeon Falls Good Friday Service is @ 1:00 PM Easter Sunday will begin with a 9:00 AM Easter Breakfast followed by the Easter Sunday Worship Celebration @ 10:15 AM. Won't you come and share some food and join us in the meal followed by the worship service! Won't you come and join our worship services! God is calling you! God's Peace, Pastor Lois Teen Technology Use and Misuse A couple weeks ago Peace Lutheran of Pigeon Falls sponsored a national speaker from UW -Eau Claire to come and speak to youth, parents and grandparents, teachers, and anyone else interested to learn about: Teen Technology Use and Misuse This presentation by Justin Patchin PhD covered a broad overview of cyberbullying including issues parents, educators, and teens need to know about how youth use and misuse technology to cause harm to their peers. They received permission to video the open to the public presentation and it is now on their website. It is called “Teen Technology Use and Misuse”. I strongly encourage you to go onto their website and listen to this program.
