a) the type of pack/materials that have been used in that industry.

The type of pack used in this Ajinomoto industry are jars, plastic film, pouches and trays, to
transport containers (cardboard) and paper boxes for products.

b) primary and/or secondary pack that have been used in that industry.
Primary pack and secondary pack had been used in this industry. The primary packaging is
plastic film while the secondary packaging is cardboard boxes.

c) problem that can be happened during packaging process.

During the packaging process to produce Ajinomoto products’, there are problem with seal
system. The seal system cannot seal with proper seal and produce products with tilted sealed.
But if the sealing errors occur, the light rays will light up and the process was stopped for a
while and quality control will checked the products before the packaging process will be
continue.

Next, the problem during weighing the products, because sometimes the weighing balance
have error and produce inaccurate weigh to the products.

Before this, Ajinomoto Malaysia did the fermentation process to produce crystal before but
now it was conducted in overseas, during the fermentation process it is difficult to get alpha
crystal because being interpreted by beta crystal.
