service OR by post no later than 12noon UK time on Friday 15 March 2019 together with all the necessary
required documents as listed in the checklist on this application form. Applications open on Monday 8
October 2018.
Registration and payment of the £25 fee should be made:

Payment Details
The registration fee of £25 can be paid by registering online at:
• https://wigmore-hall.org.uk/songcompetition/registration and paying by credit or debit card or
• by telephoning the Box Office on 020 7935 2141.

Submitting Your Application Files

Once you have registered and paid your £25 fee online, you should then send your documents and
MP3/WAV files to the Competition General Manager electronically via the use of an online FTP/cloud
sharing service such as WeTransfer, Dropbox, Box or similar, or by post to Ruth Wheal, General
Manager, Wigmore Hall/Independent Opera International Song Competition, Wigmore Hall, 36
Wigmore Street, London W1U 2BP, UK. Please DO NOT email application materials to
songcompetition@wigmore-hall.org.uk. Please make sure that you read the full Rules for the
Competition before completing and submitting your application, to ensure that you have complied
fully with all requirements.

Referees should be asked to email their letters of recommendation directly to the Competition
General Manager, clearly stating the name of both applicants.

A confirmation email will be sent once all items have been received. Please send all materials before
the deadline date of Friday 15 March 2019, 12 noon UK time. Late applications will not be considered.
