FAQ's
1. What is CIF?
CIF stands for Customer Identification Number. It’s a 15 digit numeric code. Each customer is having
unique CIF number; two different customers cannot have common CIF.

2. From where I can identify/obtain my CIF number?


CIF number can be obtained from parent branch and call center following some questionnaires. CIF
details will be also printed on pledge which is dully signed by customer for Gold Loan product.

3. Should same mobile number require which is associated with CIF to generate new
complaint?
Yes, Customer needs to enter same mobile number which is associated with the CIF number; failing so
will not allow system to generate complaint.

4. What if I am unable to find out my CIF number but I have to raise complaint?
For existing customer, CIF number is mandatory to register any complain. It helps us to identify, track and
resolve complaints within proper SLA. Somehow if customer is unable to provide CIF number in such
cases they can use other option “Existing customer as NO” and enter remaining required details. This will
also generate the complaint in system.

5. What is Case id?


Case id is complaint reference number, which can be generated on successful complaint registration.

6. How would I know my complaint’s current status?


Customers can track the complaint status by using “Track your Complaints” option which is available on
navigation panel. To know about complaint’s status customer has to provide valid case id.

7. What if I am not happy with the resolution provided against my complaint?


If customer is not happy with the resolution in such cases, customer can contact Grievance Redressal
team using appropriate option available under customer service module. But for this complaints must be
closed by complaints assigned user/executive.

8. What if resolution provided by Grievance team is not satisfactory?


If customer is not happy with the resolution provided by grievance team in such cases, customer can
contact Principal Nodal Officer using appropriate option available under customer service module.
