Giving the Time – Dar la hora

Usamos It is o it’s para dar la hora

 It is half past five (5:30).

 It's ten totwelve (11:50)

Usamos la estructura AT+ la hora cuando damos la hora de un evento específico.

 The bus arrives at midday (12:00).

 The flight leaves at a quarter to two (1:45).
 The concert begins at ten o'clock. (10:00)

Nosotros también usamos el pronombre para estas respuestas.

 Itarrives at midday (12:00).

 It leaves at a quarter to two (1:45).
 It begins at ten o'clock. (10:00)

AM vs. PM

Normalmente no se usa el sistema 24 horas en inglés.

Usamos a.m. (am) para la mañana y p.m. (pm) para la tarde y noche.

3am = Three o'clock in the morning.

3pm = Three o'clock in the afternoon.

Ejemplos:
