Introducing
On our dialogue we are talk about the attendance in restaurant, the dialogue begin in booking
by telephone and finished when the customers talk with the gerent.

 Waitress: Edna
 Gerent: Jorge
I – Booking

 Dário: calls for the restaurant reception Rose Gold.


 Mayara: good afternoon, here´s the RG restaurant.
How Can Help You?
 Dário: Good afternoon.
I´d like to book a table for two, at eight o´clock Pm in the name of Dário.
 Mayara: reserve confirmed at 8 o´clock for on behaf of Mr. Dário and Lélia. Thank
you.

II – Request

 Dário: Good evening, we have a booking scheduled for 8óclock Pm on behalf of Dário.
 Mayara: Good evening, let me confirm (10 minutes later).
Please follow me.
 Mayara: Make yourself comfortable.
 Edna: Good evening.
What would your like to eat and drink and for dessert?
 Dário: I’d like to have a beef stew accompanied with vegetable rice, apple juice to drink
and cake for dessert.
 Edna: and you miss, what would you like?
 Lelia: I’d like to have a steak with cream and mushrooms accompanied with white rice,
orange juice to drink and for dessert I want cake too.

III – Food evaluation

 Lélia: Sorry Dário, this steak is very full of salt, I can´t eat that!

 Dário: Real? My food is with a strange taste, like a meat that stayed a long time out of
the freezer!
 Lélia: It’s not possible, let me taste it. “Ooooo”, really spoiled.
Dário, call the waiter please!
 Dário: Sorry, Please waitress, we have a reclamation!
 Edna: Yes. How can I help you?

 Dário: This meat does not taste good, it´s spoiled!
 Lélia: And my steak is very full of salt.
 Edna: What, it´s not possible, our food is one of the best in the city and have the best
chef and he don´t use salt!

I believe your taste buds are not used with our confections!
 Lélia: Pardon, What you say?
So our taste buds are not suitable for eating in this restaurant?

This waitress disrespect us.
 Edna: No problem Mr., Give me a minute. (Waitress calls the manager)
 Edna: Excuses me manager, we have a problem in table 10 and, they calls you.
 Jorge: Ok, on my way to talk with the customers’ now!
 Jorge: Good evening, I’m the manager of the restaurant.
How can I help?
 Lélia: sorry, Mr Manager, but this food is horrible, have lot of salt and this meat does
not taste good, it´s spoiled. And your waitress is not cooperating.
She disrespect us.
 Jorge: Madam, sorry if our waitress disrespect you, but we provide the best service and
this is one of the best restaurants in the country, and our cook not use salt to confection
the food, so, how your food is very full of salt? It’s not possible.
Then your must have a stomach upset or something like that.
 Lélia: My God!!! More than absurd, you should be more educated and seek to improve
the services of yours restaurant.

 Dário: And, due to this lack of consideration, we will not pay the bill. We just spend
our time.
 Lélia: We will call to the INAE to check your services, because they are not qualified
to provide this type of services.
 Lélia and Dário: Have a nice day with your bad services.
 Jorge: have a nice day your two, and good voyage to the INAE! Hungry people, they
