Children
Only persons 16 years and older
are permitted to fill vehicles.
Children should not stand next to
parents when they are filling the
vehicle, if a splash back occurs this
could cause an eye injury.

you are required to advise them
when they come into pay that
our policy is no electronic
devices are to be used when
filling.
Manual Handling
Milk Crates
Milk crates can only be used to
store milk because other
products could overfill the crate
and cause a manual handling
injury. If you see a milk crate
being used to store anything
other than milk, please inform
your Manager.

Safety Steps must have four
rubber feet to ensure the safety of
employees using it. Site
Verification Audits (SVA) check
the condition of Safety Steps and
without the feet the store will be
scored down. Sites are given two
weeks notice of a SVA which is
not enough time to organise a
new Safety Step. Please take the
