Prague is the capital and largest city in the Czech Republic, the 14th largest city in
the European Union and the historical capital of Bohemia. Situated in the north-west
of the country on the Vltava river, the city counts around 1.3 million people. The city
has a moderate climate, with warm summers and chilly winters.
Prague has been a political, cultural and economic centre of central Europe and has
a rich history. Founded during the Romanesque and flourishing by the Gothic,
Renaissance and Baroque eras, Prague was the capital of the Bohemian Kingdom
and the main residence of several Holy Roman Emperors, most notably of Charles
IV (1346–1378). It was an important city to the Habsburg Monarchy and its Austro-
Hungarian Empire.
Main attractions include Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, Old Town Square with the
Prague astronomical clock, the Jewish Quarter, Petřín hill and Vyšehrad. Since 1992,
the extensive historic centre of Prague has been included in the UNESCO list of
World Heritage Sites.

The length of channel is 2350 meters, width is 130 meters. Around the channel is
5km road suitable for bicycles or roller skates. There are spaces for participants,
toilets, showers and tribune for 5000 spectators.
In Labe Arena Račice, were held a lot of Worlds and Europeans Championships for
example: World Rowing Junior Championships in 2018 and in 2017 Canoe Sprint
World Championships and European Rowing Championships.
In the interest of preserving the environment, and according to the decision taken
by the LEN Bureau in Malta (MLT) in March 2018 on the occasion of the LEN Bureau
Meeting, the use of biodegradable cups will be compulsory. Any other container
(plastic bottles or cups) will be strictly forbidden on the feeding pontoon. The
Organizer will provide all participants with 2 sizes of authorized cups.
Training will be arranged in 25 meters, 6 lanes swimming pool in Hotel Olšanka.
Transport will be provided only for participating teams that have ordered
the accommodation trough the CSF. Transport will be by bus.
• Václav Havel Airport Prague transfers to and from the official hotel
• Prague main railway station (Praha Hlavní nádraží) transfer to and from
the official hotel
• Transfers to competition venue from hotel and back
Estimated times
The Technical meeting will be held on Thursday 1st August at 13:00 at the Lecture
Hall at the Hotel Olšanka.
A 50% deposit of team’s total accommodation costs is to be made by Bank Transfer
to the Account of Czech Swimming Federation as shown below by not later than
10th June 2019 and the remaining balance must be paid by the 10th July 2019.
