Is an independent non-profit organization committed to the vision of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of empowering
educators with the skills, recognition, and support necessary to excel in their classrooms. Since it was launched in 2009 in
partnership with the Ministry of Education, QRTA offers other training programs for teachers in accordance with the
educational needs in Jordan and the Arab World.
 Teacher Education Professional Diploma
(TEPD)
TEPD is a professional teacher diploma, awarded by Queen Rania Teacher
Academy in partnership with the University of Jordan. The Diploma is 24 credit
hours delivered over nine months. It provides you with theoretical and practical
knowledge and experience to prepare you for teaching in a wide range of Jordanian
schools. You can choose the Early Grades track to prepare you to teach 1 to Grade
3 or the Grade 4 to 12 track to prepare you to be a teacher in one of the four subject
areas, depending on your undergraduate degree; mathematics, science, Arabic
and English.

Your time will be divided between sessions at QRTA and practicing

THE PROGRAMME
teaching in a variety of schools.

Your professional skills and knowledge will be enhanced so that you

become an excellent teacher in your subject area or in Early Grades

You will be provided with teaching practice in supportive schools.

You will have qualified teacher educators at QRTA and a mentor to assist
you in your learning at school.

QRTA new location is based in the University of Jordan campus.

Do I need to speak fluent English?
No. How much English will be used will depend on the subject you have chosen.

Scholarship:
Provided by the Jordanian Government: candidates are required to commit to employment
at the Ministry of Education public schools once enrolled to the diploma.

Self-Financed:
Candidates are free to apply to the diploma at their own expense with no commitment on

‫ّ‬ ‫ﺳﻴﺘﻢ دﻋﻤﻚ ﻣﻦ ﻗﺒﻞ ﻣﺪرّﺳﻴﻦ ﻣﻌ ّﻠﻤﻴﻦ ﻣﺆﻫﻠﻴﻦ ﻓﻲ اﻛﺎدﻳﻤﻴّﺔ‪ ،‬وﻣﻌ ّﻠﻢ‬ ‫ّ‬
‫ﺧﻼل ﺧﺒﺮﺗﻚ اﻟﻤﻴﺪاﻧﻴّﺔ‪.‬‬

‫ﺗﻢ اﻓﺘﺘﺎح ﻣﺒﻨﻰ أﻛﺎدﻳﻤﻴﺔ اﻟﻤﻠﻜﺔ راﻧﻴﺎ ﻟﺘﺪرﻳﺐ اﻟﻤﻌﻠﻤﻴﻦ اﻟﺠﺪﻳﺪ داﺧﻞ ﺣﺮم اﻟﺠﺎﻣﻌﺔ‬
‫اردﻧﻴﺔ‪.‬‬
‫ﻣﺆﺳﺴﺔ ﻣﺴﺘﻘﻠﺔ ﻏﻴﺮ رﺑﺤﻴﺔ ﺗﺘﺒﻨﻰ رؤﻳﺔ ﺟﻼﻟﺔ اﻟﻤﻠﻜﺔ راﻧﻴﺎ اﻟﻌﺒﺪا‪ Ò‬ﻣﻦ ﺧﻼل ﺗﻤﻜﻴﻦ اﻟﻤﻌﻠﻤﻴﻦ ﺑﺎﻟﻤﻬﺎرات اﻟﻼزﻣﺔ‪ ،‬وﺗﻘﺪﻳﺮ دورﻫﻢ وﺗﻘﺪﻳﻢ اﻟﺪﻋﻢ‬
‫ﻟﺘﻘﺪم ﺑﺮاﻣﺞ ﺗﺪرﻳﺒﻴﺔ أﺧﺮى‬
‫ّ‬ ‫اﻟﻼزم ﻟﻬﻢ داﺧﻞ اﻟﻐﺮف اﻟﺼﻔﻴﺔ‪ .‬وﺗﻌﻤﻞ اﻛﺎدﻳﻤﻴﺔ اﻟﺘﻲ اﻧﻄﻠﻘﺖ ﻓﻲ ﻋﺎم ‪ ٢٠٠٩‬ﺑﺎﻟﺸﺮاﻛﺔ ﻣﻊ وزارة اﻟﺘﺮﺑﻴﺔ واﻟﺘﻌﻠﻴﻢ‪،‬‬
‫ﻟﻠﻤﻌﻠﻤﻴﻦ وﻓﻘ‪ º‬ﻟﻼﺣﺘﻴﺎﺟﺎت اﻟﺘﻌﻠﻴﻤﻴﺔ ﻓﻲ اردن واﻟﻌﺎﻟﻢ اﻟﻌﺮﺑﻲ‪.‬‬
