BEDROOM- DAY

SAM: late teens on the shorter side, wakes up to Bad Liar by

Selena Gomez they gets out of bed and turns off the alarm.

SAM
(Tired)
I hate that song.

Sam gets out of their bed and heads to their bathroom. They
looks in the mirror and analyze their face. They are
relatively clean shaved, have light brown eyes rosey cheeks
and their skin is pale, but has a red undertone.

SAM
(Sad)

I wish I looked better.

They continue to look at their face. They then open their

mirror and takes some pills.

SAM
(Longing)
Maybe in my next life I'll be
beautiful.

Sam takes off his clothes and gets in the shower. He finishes
and is about to get out , but he slips and and smashes his
head. they lay there, lifeless in a pool of their blood.

INT. BEDROOM- DAY

Sam wakes up in their bed and hears Bad Liar by Selena Gomez
again. They wince and holds the back of their head. They are
about to get up, but feels a pressure on their body. They
look and see a guy spooning against them. Sam finds out the
boys name is LOGAN, pale skin, reddish brown hair, and
shining blue eyes.

SAM
(Worried)
Uh, who are you?

Sam noticed that their voice sounded different. It sounds

more feminine. Not like it used to be.Logan looks up and
smiles at them.

LOGAN
(Laughing)
Wow Sam, you really do just file

Sam just looks at him confused, but ignores it. They get out
of bed and looks around. They notice that they're in a new
room. They notice that there are two more people half dressed
in the room. They become nervous and run into, what looks to
be the bathroom. They look in the bathroom mirror and
screams.

SAM
(Hysterical)
What the hell! who-what-?

Sam sees that they are completely different. They now have
long brown hair, light pale skin, and looks completely female
presenting. They look down and realize that they're in a
night gown.

SAM
Oh god, oh, god, if there is a god why
me.

Sam hears Logan calling out their name.

SAM
(Annoyed)
Okay. You all need to leave. Now!

They look at Sam confused, but they comply and start to put
clothes on and begin to leave. Once they all leave Sam goes
to their bed and lays there. Confused.

SAM
What is happening to me?

Sam lifts their arms up and notices something on their arm.

It was a tally mark.

SAM
(Confused)
What the hell is this?

Sam tries to wipe it off, but its permanently on their skin.

Sam gets frustrated and gives up trying to wipe the marks
away. With nothing to do, Sam decides to take this new body
for a spin. They get dressed in a revealing blue outfit and
put on some makeup that they looked up on a Youtube tutorial.

SAM
I guess since I asked for a better
body, god granted it to me. Better not

INT. CLUB- NIGHT

Sam goes out to a club. They are flirting with everyone, guy,
girl, anyone that would give them attention. They decide to
leave and began to walk down the street, but an unsettling
feeling creep up behind them. Sam starts to walk faster. And
so did the footsteps coming from behind them. Suddenly they
feel an a hand grab them and pull them aside into an ally
way. It is a MAN IN BLACK

MAN IN BLACK
See you in your next life.

Sam begins to panic. Their screams are met with shushing. The
Man in Black takes his hands from Sam's mouth, then wrapped
them around Sam's throat.

SAM
(Gasping)
Please!

Sam soon starts to feel their life draining. They begin to

stop thrashing and just let go.

INT. BEDROOM- DAY

Sam jumps up choking. Trying to catch their breath, they look

around and hear Bad Liar by Selena Gomez

SAM
(Annoyed)
This fucking song again.

Sam huffs and pushes are head back onto their pillows. Sam
realizes that they were hungry, actually they have this
insatiable hunger. They yawned and runs their hands through
their hair, except it has a strange texture. Dreads. Sam ran
to the bathroom and noticed that they were different, again.
This time they were male presenting, their skin was a nice
shade of ebony, and there was minor scruff. Sam noticed his
physic is very muscular, also they are shirtless. Out of
embarrassment they covered up.

SAM
(Confused)
What the hell? (sighs) I'm hungry.

Sam goes into the kitchen and notices the large assortment of
food options. He decides to get something simple for now and

pulls out some cream cheese for a bagel. While waiting for
his bagel to they looks at their arm and noticed that another
tally mark was added to their arm. Suddenly the bagels pops
up and steals their attention. Sam starts to smear cream
cheese and breaks off a piece and popped it in his mouth. Sam
started to cough. They started to choke.

SAM
(Coughing)
You're kidding!?

INT. BEDROOM- DAY

Sam wakes up to Bad Liar by Selena Gomez and coughs. Finding

a glass of water by the bad, they begin to drink it.

SAM
¿Y un panecillo, de verdad?

Sam is taken aback from the sudden ability to speak Spanish.

Sam looked around at their new surroundings. It's nicer than
the others. They must be rich.

SAM
(Laughing)

late. There was a Man in Black, they can't tell who he is

INT. BEDROOM- DAY

Bad Liar by Selena Gomez plays and Sam is holding onto their
stomach.

SAM
I'm so fucking sick of this song! Why
can't I just stay alive!

Sam notices that they feel this unbridled rage. They have
never felt like this before. Sam tries to get up, but hit
their head on a long hanging wall. They let out a loud
scream. Sam needs to see what they look like now. So they
looks for the bathroom.

SAM
Why the fuck can't I find the fucking
bathroom!?

Sam notices that there was a mirror in one of the halls.

SAM
I'm Asian! Wait? Why am I mad about
that? Am I a racist Asian!?

Sam hears footsteps from upstairs.

SAM
(To themselves)
Do I have parents? So far none of
these people had parents. Hello?

There is no reply. However the footsteps are coming down the

steps.

SAM
If you here to kill me, come get me
you son of a bitch!

The steps stop. Sam waits. Listens. The steps commence,

faster, until Sam and the Man in Black are face to face.

SAM
I refuse to die again. It hurts too
fucking much. Let's go!

The Man in Black turns his head to the side then charges at
Sam. Sam screams as he runs at them.

INT. LIVING ROOM- DAY

Bad Liar by Selena Gomez plays and Sam just lets it play.

SAM
Ya know, this song is kinda growing on
me.

Sam starts to get up slowly. They notice that they feel very
tired. Sam just does the same routine, finds the bathroom,
and analyses their new appearance. They are very tall, male
presenting, look sleepy, and hasn't shaved in awhile.

SAM
Oof buddy, wow.

Sam notices that they are in one of the basement rooms and
decides to go upstairs to look around. They notice that they
have up to six marks on their arm. Sam reaches the top of the
steps and yawns.

SAM
(Yawning)
Wow I am tired.

Sam yawns again and stretches too far. They begin to fall
down the stairs. Sam doesn't fight it though. They just let
it happen.

INT. BEDROOM - DAY

Sam wakes up to Bad Liar by Selena Gomez and looks at the

ceiling, processing what is happening. They get up, get
dressed, notices that there are seven marks now. They have a
new feeling of confidence in this new body. This one was
female presenting, has a very youthful face, short dyed hair,
and ivory skin.

SAM
I'm gonna get that bastard and get
some answers. Now the real question is
how do I get to him.

The Man in Black appears in the mirror behind them, holding a

knife.

SAM

The Man in Black just looks at them, and turns their head to
the side.

SAM
Just fucking answer me! God dammit!
And take off the mask, what is this a
90's slasher. Also black on black come
on! Cliche much?

The Man in Black complies and takes off his mask. It was
Logan from the second life.

SAM
You? Really? Well, that's
anticlimactic. Why the hell do you
keep killing me. And why won't I stay
dead!?

LOGAN
You've sinned in all of your lives.
This is your punishment. I loved you
in every life, and I am cursed to kill
you in each life, but this is your
last one.

Sam looks at Logan, confused, angry, a little tired. They

walks up to Logan and hugs him.

SAM
(Sobbing)
I'm sorry- I didn't know.

Logan hugs them back and begin to sob.

LOGAN
I am so sorry, Sam. What do we do now?

SAM
We fight what ever has us trapped
here.

They hold hands and get ready to face whatever comes their
way.
