Assigned Job Responsibilities
In that week I have worked only at export section. I made several documents after getting all the
documents from exporter. I have classified all these data in Microsoft excel and also the register
book. I have also learned that there are number of official procedure, an exporter has to follow
before and after the shipments. The most important part is to engage in the business of import and
export, registration with the chief controller of imports and exports.
These procedures are:
1. ADVISING L/C.
2. ISSUING OF EXP.
3. COLLECTION OF DOCUMENT.
4. REALIZATION OF EXPORT PROCEED.
5. REPORTS.
6. ISSUING REALIZATION CERTIFIC.

All Exports must be announced on the EXP from which the branch to their customers occupied in
export trade supplies. Branch will guaranteed that the exporter is enrolled with the CCI and EE
before affirming any export from. EXP is issued to the exporter and after that the exporter will
convey this EXP shape and go to the traditions.

Learning outcomes
From this week started working with export and learned a lot of things about export such as:
Bangladesh exports about 40% of its readymade garments products to U.S.A. Most of the exporters
who export through South Bangla Agriculture and Commerce Bank are readymade garments
exporters. They open against the import L/Cs opened by their foreign importers.
Observation
Comparing to general banking, working at this section is much challenging for me because so
many new things are there to learn. In addition, it is very much hassle to maintain all the documents
that are required for exports.
Noticeable Incidents
A customer suddenly got a bit frustrated a day in the very first hour as his check was not working
so I myself tried to calm him down and informed our manager about this and eventually she solved
the problem of that customer.
