Oktoberfest Cordoba

In terms of music festivals, this kind of event is not very common in our country considering that what
predominates more in our region is rock, electronic music and folklore. I was lucky enough to attend in
2017 and was so amazed that I regretted not having gone before.

What makes it so particular is that it has nothing to do with Argentina’s customs, it has its roots in
Germany. It was brought here by exiled people who escaped from war and now the heritage is
maintained by their descendants.

The venue where the event takes place is huge and people can pay entrance for one day or many days
with discount. Once inside, there are many music shows that resembles different countries styles. Most
of the music is German style. Artists not only perform music but also dancing. I remember watching
Scottish, Swedish and French apart from German of course.

The organization is quite good considering that there are many people who attend, there is a separate
area for bathrooms and in the main area there are many stands to buy beer and food. The price of the
beer and food is a little bit expensive, but fair enough considering that this town makes its income
mostly through this event.

From my point of view this event is relevant today not only because it generates an important income
for the city and surroundings but also because it enrich our country’s culture and traditions. It brings
new music styles and ways of leisure. It is worth visiting for sure.

Best hollydays ever

No doubt Switzerland is a marvellous country. Every place I have been to has caused an impact on me to
the point of wishing to go back some day.

From the very moment I step on Switzerland I was delighted, not only by its tidiness but also by its
colour. And even though it is a small country, they know how to take the most of every piece of land. In
a small area I could see a commercial area and next to it a big park that looked like a wood.
While I was on the highway I noticed that the landscape is not flat, they have a lot of mountains and
hills. It is quite common to pass through many tunnels while driving. At both sides of the road you can
notice that the grass is perfectly green and looks like is being maintained regularly.

The east side of the country has stunning landscapes, it seems as if someone had painted it by hand.
This part of the country count with a ski resort and is very crowded in winter, although in summer is
quite beautiful also.

I was very little time in the country so it is difficult for me to find negative characteristics but one thing
to bear in mind is that there is no nocturnal life, places are not open until late hours , so people who like
party at night could get bored.

Summarizing, Switzerland is a country that is worth visiting considering the landscapes and culture they
count on. With just a few days you can visit most part of the country and you can do it by train since it is
one of the best in the world.
