 Teaching Adjectives By Activity.

Learning the parts of speech can be difficult for students. Students will be able to name
adjectives by describing their favourite characters from the teachers story and their own favourite
stories.

In order to teach adjectives to students of Grade 1 to 3, teachers can use effective methods,
activities and games which help them to think creatively. The method I have chosse to teach adjectives
to my students, is :

Method:

 First of all, I divided my class into a pairs, with respect to their best friends or partner.
 Every student have to write an essay on his or her best friend (100 words) using maximum
adjectives.

 After writing an essay, both will exchange their essays woth each other, and check them.
 All they need to do is, to identify and encircle the adjectives from their essays.

 The more they identify the adjectives, the more they got the points. And this will built a interest in
them to stay connected and active.
 This is how they can learn maximum adjectives, while sharing each other works.

 At the end, after identify or encircling adjectives, they will read them loudly, one by one in the class.
 And discuss them with eachother.
Activity:

One ,one pair from the whole class.

10 students = 5 pairs. (10 essays)

The essay written by stuends.

My best friend name is Mir Ahmad. He is my friend from the school time. We are good friends
from the childhood and still continue. He is a smart boy having a fair complexion and black eyes and a
pointed nose. He is also very intelligent in studies. I like him so much. I still remember that we were met
in our kindergarten class and became great friends. He is very entertaining, jolly and helpful in nature.
He understands me a lot and always get ready to help me in my all bad or happy conditions. We are
classmates and stay together every time. We go to school everyday together and play sports daily in
nearby ground of our house. I like my best friend very much.
