WRITING AN EMAIL
You have to write an email of 35- 45 words. Read the instructions carefully
and write the mail.

You promised to take photos at your friend Sam’s 18th birthday party next
week, but now you can’t go to the party.
Write an email to a friend. In your email, you should:
 Explain why you can’t go to the party.
 apologise.
 suggest someone else who can take the photos.

Do not write more than 35-45 words.

Dear Sam
I know I promised to attend your birthday party and be in charge of taking the pictures.
Unfortunately, I had a personal issue arise and it has caused all of my plans to change. I am so
sorry, but I will not be able to attend the party. I sincerely hope you will accept muy apology.
Iam sending my friend to be responsible for taking the photos instead of me. He will be able to
coordinate with you anything and any photos you need taken.
