Rules

1. Duration of the game will be 8 minutes each half with a 3 min break.
2. 5 A-Side Tournament With 3/4 Substitutes, rolling substitutions are allowed, however, it
needs to be done by intimating the referee. Player has to go out first & next player (Sub)
comes in after informing the referee. The goal keeper will need to be substituted only when
the ball is out of play.
3. Teams not arriving/reporting for their games as per scheduled, walkover will be awarded to
the opposite team with a score of 2-0.
4. Referee’s decisions on the field will be final. No arguing with the referee. Play to the whistle.
No sliding tackles allowed (even if you get the ball).
5. 2 Yellow Cards in any of their respective games, the Player will be debarred from the third
game. 1 Red Card will also lead to missing the next game.
6. Handling the ball by the goal keeper for a back pass will lead to a foul and a free kick to the
opposing team.
7. Instead of throws, the play will restart with ground kick from the sideline. If the ball hits the
roof net, the referee will give a free kick to the opposite team.
8. Usual rink football rule of ball not permitted above shoulder height will NOT be applicable.
You can play the ball above shoulder level also.
9. There are no off sides.
10. All free kicks will be indirect.
11. A goal can be scored only if the player takes the shot while in the opponent’s half.
12. 3 points per win in the league stage. 1 point for draw. No extra time/penalty shootout for any
matches in league stage.
At the end of the league stage, in case of tie in points between teams, then the team with
higher goal difference will be ranked higher and qualify accordingly.
If still tied after goal difference, then the team with the higher number of Goals Scored will
be ranked higher.
If still tied, then it will be decided based on penalty shootout (sudden death) i.e. 1 player
from each side shoots a penalty until one misses and the other one scores
13. In case of a draw, for the knockout stages, there will be a direct tie-breaker of 3 penalty
shootouts per team, followed by sudden death in case of no result in the tie-breaker. Only the
players that are on the playing field will be allowed to take part in the penalty shoot outs
14. Dress Code:
 Sports Shoes (Players must wear canvas / keds / plastic studs / astro studs / sport shoes.
Studs, spikes, boots & barefoot will not be allowed.)
 Track pants or Shorts
15. The decision of the referee & organizing committee in all matters will be final and binding
for all matters
