Dear Student,

1. Please refer to your application on the above subject. We are glad to inform that you have been
registered with the Board of Studies as a student of the Foundation under Registration Number
Foundation/CRO0646227 with effect from 09-06-2018
2. However, to enable the Students and others to distinguish which course you are undergoing at
present, your unique Student Number will be prefixed by the actual course you are undergoing.
3. You may therefore quote your Student Registration Number as Foundation/CRO0646227 till the
completion of Foundation Course.
4. You will be eligible to appear for Foundation Examination after passing in the Higher Secondary
Examinations (10+2 Examinations) in case you have not yet appeared , conducted by an examining
body constituted by law in India or an examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent
thereto and after completing a specified period from the date of registration. For appearing May
Foundation examination student should have registered with the Board of studies of the Institute on or
before 31st December and for November Foundation Examination, 30th June respectively.
5. Students are required to submit attested copy of Higher Secondary Examinations (10+2) mark sheet
before filling Foundation Course Exam Form, if the same has not been submitted at the time of
registration.
6. The validity of registration for Foundation Course would be for 3 years from the date of initial
registration. Thereafter, registration can be renewed for every three years by paying the renewal fee of
Rs.300/- for every renewal.
7. You can also pursue Graduation/Post Graduation Courses through Distance Learning Education Mode
conducted by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) with whom the Institute has entered into
MOU. Details in this regard could be found from the ICAI Website - www.icai.org.
