NATURE CENTER

Abstract

A nature center is an organization with a visitor center or interpretive center designed to educate

people about nature and the environment. It is important that we keep a nice nature center. I do

think everyone should contribute to clean it up. We all have different reasons to go to the nature

center. So, for whatever reason, a person goes to the nature center, litter is the last thing someone

wants to see in nature. To help keep our nature centers clean, pick up all types of trash. Pick up

anything that doesn't belong. If you like doing community service, you can pick up a highway to

help keep our environment and help with pollution. Write a letter to the local newspaper to have

one's voice to be heard. Join bigger organizations trying to help the environment. Learn to

conserve water. Don't leave the water running, make sure faucets are completely closed. Long

nature walks are peaceful and relaxing. A perfect time to blow off some steam. Whether it’s a

single bench on a walking trail or a couple of benches in a learning center they serve a purpose.

The nature center at Triton Public schools needs some restoration, to contribute to help in the

nature center I will be rebuilding the benches. This will bring some life to Tritons nature center

giving it a new place to sit and enjoy the nice breeze on the trail.
