Aliens in Arizona
One of the most well-recognized
phenomena revolving around
aliens is known as “Area 51,” an
Air Force base in Nevada,
rumored to contain, or have
contained, alien specimen and
other extraterrestrial objects. Alien
and/or UFO sightings are reported
every so often and Arizona is not
excluded from that point. After all,
Arizona has two of its own popular
Alien rumors:
• Phoenix Lights
• The Travis Walton Abduction

In the year of 1975, around the woods
of Heber, AZ, logger Travis Walton
and his crew discovered a UFO.
During his one-man investigation, he
was pulled up by the UFO’s beam—
abducted! Of course, we were able to
get more information on the abduction
itself because Walton was later
returned to the more familiar
surroundings of AZ, unharmed. He
recalls meeting aliens varying in
humanlike appearances, trying to
communicate with said aliens, and
witnessing alien technology.
After the incident, the film Fire in the
Sky was released in 1993. It was
about Walton’s 5-day long abduction.
It is not entirely accurate but is a fair
visualization of what Walton had
experienced.
Buzzfeed Unsolved, a popular
investigation YouTube channel series
that often covers mysterious events,
dove into the mysteries surrounding
the Travis Walton abduction, years
after the events took place. While it is
an entertaining and comedic video, it
is also a great way to comprehend
what had happened that night , n a
condensed form that might just be a
little easier to understand.

Phoenix Lights
On the night of March 13th, 1997,
there was a series of UFOs sighted
flying over Arizona, Nevada, and
Mexico. Calls and reports were
made, sharing the common
experience of viewing a triangular
formation of lights. Thousands of
people were seeing these lights
between the times of 7:30 p.m. and
10:30 p.m.
This event also has a film inspired by
it titled, Phoenix Forgotten and its
own feature on a Buzzfeed Unsolved
episode (Season 4, Episode 5).
