3 Location & orientation to design & drawing
4 Enclosure as per area classification
5 Visual inspection for damage or missing parts
6 Check mounting & supports as per design & drawing
7 Oil filled transformer. Check oil level & for oil leaks
8 Air cooled transformer. Check for total vermin proofing
9 Check bushings, marking, terminations & sealing of both primary &
secondary compartments
10 Check proper mounting & support of transformer
11 Check both primary & secondary cable sizes, numbers & terminations
conform with design & drawing
12 Check tap changer is lockable & selecting positions
13 Megger primary & secondary cables. Record readings on QTR-1
14 Megger test transformer & record readings on QTR-3
15 Check terminations & glanding prior to sealing compartments
16 Check EARTHING, earth rods & wells to design & drawing
17 Megger test earth rods & record readings on QTR-6
18 Any deviations, revisions or changes to be recorded for As Builts
