ABSTRACT

The present investigation was based on the positivist paradigm lowered the
quantitative approach, its main objective was to design teaching strategies
aimed at teachers to strengthen the research process in sixth grade students; it
was located in a feasible project, supported by a field design with descriptive
character. The study subjects were formed by 24 teachers who work in the
NER 140 Bolivarian School Laguna Salada of the Cují - Tamaca Parish of
Lara State. In order to obtain the diagnostic information, the design and
application of a mixed questionnaire-type instrument using the survey
technique was counted; subject to a trial validity of three (3) experts. The
results obtained were presented through bar graphs by descriptive statistics. It
was developed in three phases: Diagnosis, Feasibility and Design. He
concluded that teachers handle information about didactic strategies and have
availability to apply them, however, there is a dilemma about which didactic
strategies can be used to motivate research in 6th grade students. There is
economic, technical and educational strength in the institution as well as in the
teaching staff for the application. They consider important to encourage among
teachers the use of (analogies, questions and answers, brainstorming, summary,
comparative tables and synoptic, illustrations, mental maps) as they are very
useful to promote significant student learning, making use of them in all the
research processes and an assertive decision making. Recommended: Apply
different techniques and methods in the teaching-learning process in sixth
grade for better understanding and student performance, constantly update the
necessary teaching material that leads to an innovative research process and
according to new educational challenges.

Descriptors: Didactic strategies, research process.
