Shooting Script
Description of visuals
Starts with Rachel coming home from work and
sitting down with mike watching TV together
and happy and then cuts to scenes of the
couple happily having a picnic at the park
together and then will just go through a quick
montage of the two of them happy together,
walking through the town, having dinner
together.
The next scene will be the couple watching TV
together and Mike leaving the room and
leaving his phone on the table, she looks at it
and decides to pick it up and finds that a girl
has been trying to message him but even
though he never replied to her, when he comes
back in she confronts him, they start to argue
and he gets very defensive whilst she gets more
and more aggressive and begins hitting him
around the head and it escalates as he goes to
the floor and she stands above him punching
him, the scene will cut there.
The next scene will be when he wakes up the
next morning on the sofa with bruises and cuts
on his face, having flashbacks to the night
before, you can see the struggle in his face
trying to understand why she did this. He packs
a bag and goes to leave the house but then gets
text messages from Rachel saying that she is
sorry for what she did and begging for him to
come back, he sees this and has flash backs to
the good times that they had together but then
thinks back again to what happened the night
before and then looks at his reflection and
decides to keep going and makes his way to the
town centre and sits in a coffee shop and looks
through the little money that he has.
It then cuts to night time where mike is
wondering around the town trying to find
somewhere to spend the night, he finds a spot

He wakes up the next day and then sits on the
floor as people start walking past him as if he
didn’t exist. And then another homeless man
comes over to him and tells him to come with
him, he is quite hesitant but decides to go with
him, he takes him to an abandoned house that
other homeless people are staying in, he then
offers him heroin, mike has it in his hands and
is thinking about what happened with Rachel
and flashes back again, he decides to do it and
it will show a close up on his face as his eyes
close and he goes back, his eyes will open and
he will sit back up and be in a field, this section
of the music video will be the very cinematic
visualisation of the heroin high. He will be
walking around the fields with the sun in the
background, I will use a drone to get shots from
a different perspective, this section will mainly
be Mike just wondering around without any
stress or other thoughts on his mind and away
from everything, the empty field is a
representation of his empty mind.
