What have been the most powerful insights for me about student assessment?

 The measurement of student learning is important because it provides useful feedback to both
instructors and students about the extent to which students are successfully meeting course learning
objectives. Assessment is so vital in their pedagogical design that their approach encourages teachers and the
curriculum planners.

REFLECTIVE QUESTION
1. How do the theories I have learned in any subjects relate to the learning environment practice on
assessment?

 For me, assessment is more than grading. Assessment links student performance to specific learning
objectives in order to provide useful information to instructors and students about student achievement

2. What procedures and systems of assessment do I feel best enhance student learning? Why?
 Classroom assessment technique provide a useful way to evaluate student understanding of course
material in the teaching and learning process.

3. How can I keep learning about assessment?

 A person cannot keep learning about assessment, however, a student can participate in classroom
that use assessment for learning techniques. These techniques show students what they are supposed to be
learning for any chapter or unit being discussed on a particular subject. The teacher will start off the unit by
determining what the students already know and correct anything that student had remembered incorrectly.
