CONCLUSIONS:
In this experiment we have designed Single Time Constant
(STC) Active Filters using OpAmp IC-741.

Active RC circuit acts as Low Pass filter with desired gain in

the pass band region. It also acts as integrator for high time
constant and ideal integrator without feedback resistor (R1).

Active RC circuit acts as Low Pass filter with desired gain in

the pass band region. It also acts as Differentiator for high time
constant and ideal Differentiator without feedback resistor
(R1).

The performance of the filters can be enhanced by adding

multiple stages (cascading) which lead to Multiple Time
Constants. Cascading can be easily done over several stages
as at each stage, the Input Impedance is very high and the
Output Impedance is very low.
