Ms. M Kenny
Recruitment Manager
Dublin 20
Dear Ms Kenny,
My name is Eve Quigley and I wish to apply for the temporary sales floor customer assistant
position in Marks and Spencers. I saw this role advertised on indeed.ie and was keen to apply.
I am applying for this role as I have always had an interest in the retail sector and would love to
learn more about it. As you will note from my enclosed CV, I am extremely hardworking, reliable
and have strong communication skills. I have gained these skills from several of my work
experience placements I undertook in Transition Year, such as volunteering at the DSPCA animal
shelter for a week. Volunteering there was extremely interesting and I learned to take initiative and
how to work in a team. I also worked in SAP, an IT company, where I learned how to improve my
computer skills.
I am available for an interview in early March. I am looking to secure a rewarding position that can
challenge me and allow me to further my knowledge of the retail sector. I believe that my
enthusiasm, diligence and dependability would make me a strong asset within Marks and
Spencers. Please do not hesitate to call me on 089 9622315 so we can discuss this further.
Thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
Eve Quigley
