correspondence using objects.

Objectives: Child able to recognize numbers on a bingo card.

- Counting from 1-101 on bingo card.

- Listening to numbers and to see it on a card.

Materials: Long Train Book, bingo cards, a bag of beans

Activity: I will read the Long Train book to them and the kids will place a bean on
each number on the bingo card. I will call out the numbers out of order to make it
like a real bingo game.

What Happened: I read to the kids the Long Train book. Two boys were goofing
off and barely paying attention. The girl was interested and wanted to make sure
that she had all her spaces covered with the beans. The boys lost interest half way
through it and just wanted to be done. I called the numbers out of order and
places beans on my bingo card as well. In the end, the girl ended up winning. She
had fun, but the boys did not.

What Next: Develop a lesson plan on trains and count how many cars are on the
train. Make it fun and interesting and teach them about how trains work
