Explain how the book appeals to children, their interests, developmental levels, fun
illustrations etc. Give specific examples from the book:
The book overall would appeal to older children. The first appealing factor would be the
cover, the cover is unique as it has a young girl holding a flag that reads equality. The
illustrations of the book are also beautifully made and the text is simple yet provides great
details of the historical time. The book would be great for a child who is interested in the
time period provided and like to learn of how things were in the past.
