A. The main character of the book is a Dumpling or so he believes he is a dumpling . The setting
of the book takes place in the golden rose restaurant. The theme of the book is finding out
how beautiful the word is even though we may not fit in where we what to fit in.

Explain how the book appeals to children, their interests, developmental levels, fun
illustrations etc. Give specific examples from the book:

The book is appealing to children as it has an interesting front cover of a dumpling with eyes,
legs, and arms. The book may also be appealing to a child who likes food and they may find
interesting that the dumpling has human characteristics. Another appealing aspect of the
book is the color and animation because although it is animated it has some realistic aspects
to it.

Explain your rating.
I enjoyed the book because it is very unique. The book is unique in the aspect of having a bit
of a lesson of finding the beauty in life although other may not find that beauty in us. I like
books that are for children and have a lesson of loving oneself and being true to oneself.
