Objective: To add and identify numerals


Materials: fish cut-outs (that have the numbers 1-10 written on them)
with paper clip, fishing, strips
fishing rod

Procedure:
1. Set up a “fishing area” where fish with shapes are placed on the
floor.
2. The class will be divided into 2 groups.
3. The teacher will show pair of numbers to add. Example : 5 + 4 =
4. The children will pick up the correct answer to the equation.
5. The first player to pick the correct answer will be the winner.
Independent: Simple Addition (Up to the quantity of 10)
