 Product Distribution: The Basic

All the shops, markets, business need a one form to send yours products in a way
secure and fast, but not choose the way correct can generate problems with your
product or with the buyers, and is important know the diferents ways to transport
your product.

Choosing your mode of transport: what to consider:

 Know what is the factor more important in your decision-making.

 If you have perishable items send the way more economic how in a truck is
a bad idea
 If you transporting the items dangerous you need comply various guidelines
 If your products are expensive or shipping your product by sea, you need a
sometimes insurance, bought for the seller or the buyer
 If your cargo is valuable, it might be necessary to use a vehicle tracking
system so you know exactly where it is

Modes of Transporting:

Road:

 Road transport is cheap, convenient and one of the most flexible modes of
transport.
 If you're planning to transport your goods by road, you need to be aware of
height, weight and length restrictions.

Rail:
  The rail transport is fast and friendly with the environment but maybe more
expensive.
 You can send greater amount of your products in a one cargo.

Air:

 Is the transport more speedy across large distances

 As with excess baggage on passenger airlines, airfreight is usually charged
by the kilogram
 Airfreight is carried by cargo-only airlines as well as scheduled passenger
aircraft.

Sea:

 You can transport large volumenes but is more slow

 Is more economic that in air
 There are two types of shipping:
Liner vessels operate on fixed routes with fixed schedules
Tramp vessels operate entirely according to the demand of the person
chartering them

Courier:

 The courier is very fast and most secure, but can be costly
 Couriers are only used to short distances
