Employee Dress Policy

As per CoreLife Eatery regulations, each employee must adhere to the dress code policy outlined in
CoreLife University. Each employee must adhere to the following:

• Each employee will be given a uniform (shirt, apron, hat) at the time of employment or on
orientation. Every employee is required to keep their uniform clean and wrinkle free. Depending
on number of work hours, certain employees will be given extra clothing.
o If an employee would like to order additional pieces, they may speak to the Head Coach
in which they will direct them to the appropriate website to make orders.
• Appropriate bottom wear consists of jeans (blue or black), pants, or khakis. All bottom wear must
not have rips or tears, and nothing is permitted to hang out of pockets.
• Only slip resistant shoes are permitted to be worn in the Eatery during staffed hours. Shoes are
to be purchased at the expense of the employee. Each employee is required to have slip resistant
shoes on the Monday following orientation, or on their first shift. If an employee does not have
appropriate footwear for their shift, they will be required to purchase a slip resistant shoe pullover
from the Head Coach. The cost will be $15.00. If the employee refuses, they will be sent home.

• Alternatively, employees are permitted to purchase non-slip shoes from any vendor of their
choosing (Walmart, Payless Shoe Source, etc.)
• CoreLife approved headwear must be worn at all times. All hair must be restrained and
covered/protected by the CoreLife hat. All hair styles must be compliant with all health
regulations and must be kept off the shoulders.
• Piercings: Up to two earrings in each ear. No hoops larger than a quarter are permitted. All
gauges are not be larger than a dime. No tongue, septum, lip, or hoop nose piercings.
• Tattoos: all visible tattoos must be G-rated. If not, they must be covered.
• Fingernails: All fingernails must be kept clean, neat and trimmed. Nail polish and synthetic/fake
nails are not permitted.
• Facial Hair: Must be kept well-groomed and trimmed. Facial hair must not exceed ½-1 inch in
length. If required, beard nets may need to be worn.

*All religious and cultural beliefs will be taken into consideration when reviewing the employee dress
policy.
