Abstract

The paper aim to descried the procedure to model turning operation in Deform 3 D.
Analysis of machining were performed in software with work piece AISI 5200 and carbide tool
insert. Analysis were performed in various machining environments- dry machining and
machining with conventional cutting fluid and nanofluid. Analysis were performed for cutting
force, surface roughness and tool wear. The obtained values after analysis were compared with
real machining values. Article aims to study the effect of nanofluid in turning and compare it
with dry machining and machining with conventional cutting.
