I.LEARNING OBJECTIVES

At the end of the lessons the students will be able to:

A. Design figures or drawings on the stencil to figure out the sizes of the objects/design;
B. Create stencils for use in silk-screen printing;
C. Work in a groups to achieve the outcome of managing time and resources;
D. Reflect on their own and others art work.

1. Presentation

The teacher will present the lessons through LCD projector and laptop

2. Discussion

Stenciling technique is an ancient art which is said to have started in China and Japan ,
and was one of the widely used methods of printing. North Americans where among the
first to start ways by which the stencils could be used in home decoration.

Screen printing is a method of printing where you apply ink through a fine – mesh
screen onto a surface .The image is result of blocking parts of the screen with a stencil
or by creating an image directly on the screen with drawing fluid on screen filler.

1. Application
The teacher ask students to create stencils for use in silk – screen printing.

IV.EVALUATION

The students perform the screen printing using the stencil method.
