b) Lesson: Identify sewing tools, equipment and their uses
c) Materials: PowerPoint Presentation, Laptop/Netbook, Pictures, Manila
Paper

III. Procedures
A. Preparatory Activity
a) Prayer
b) Greetings
c) Checking of Attendance
d) Review the past lesson
1. Ask the students about the previous lesson
2. What they learn in the previous lesson
3. Ask the students if they really understand the past lesson
B. Motivation
a) Introduce the game “Guess the picture” game by giving sample
b) Play the “Guess the picture” game
c) Ask some from the class to guess the pictures being shown.
*There are 5 different pictures*
C. Activity
a) Divide the class into five groups
b) From the 5 pictures in the “Guess the picture” game each group
will take one
c) For 3 minutes, the groups will have to guess the possible
function/uses of each tools in the picture
d) After 3 minutes, the group representative will discuss their tools
and its possible function/uses in front of the class
D. Analysis
Ask further questions:
a) What do they feel about the activity?
b) Did they learn from it?
c) Do they think they can use it in the future?
 E. Abstraction
a) Introduce/Discuss the lesson in Dressmaking which is the
identify the sewing tools and equipment and their uses
b) Introduce the different types/kinds of sewing machine
F. Application
a) Present 10 different pictures of sewing tools and
equipment/sewing machine
b) Ask students from the class to identify it
c) Ask another student what its uses/function
IV. Evaluation
Part 1. In a ½ sheet of paper, write the correct answer in the space
provided.
