Human Evolution is Real

Scientists have asked questions about the earth, and one of their questions is: Did humans

evolve? There is a lot of evidence of which archeologists and scientists have found. Some people

still say that human evolution isn’t real, but how could they? After all of this research and hard

work people have done, then why don’t they believe it? Evolution is real, and I will prove this

through fossils, genetics, and behavior.

First, there are fossils that can prove that human evolution is real. Have you ever seen

fossils of a human’s skull, and an ape’s skull? The only big difference is that an ape’s mouth

sticks out. If you look at an ape’s entire skeleton, you would be amazed at how similar it is to a

human’s. Many archeologists have found skeletons of our species. They have found fossils of

Homo erectus, Homo habilis, Homo floresiensis, and many more. The earlier humans get, the

closer they come to look like apes. One of our earliest descendent called ardipithecus, walked

like an ape; with their hands and legs. If you compare the hardness of an ape and human fossil,

they are almost the same.

Another way to prove that evolution is real is by comparing them through genetics. If you

look at their DNA, human DNA is one percent different from each other’s. If you compare a

humans DNA to a chimpanzee’s (which is a type of primate) it will be one point two percent

different! If you look at a primate family tree, we are at the apes section. To the furthest left,

there is the Prosimians section, then the monkeys section, and then, to the way right, there is the

Apes and Great Apes section. It turns out that we are a Great Ape! OUr closest relatives are the
Chimpanzee, and Bonobos. The last common ancestor of humans and chimpanzees lived

between eight and six million years ago. Our species has gone from the Ardipithecus group, to

the Australopithecus group, to the Paranthropus group, all the way till the Homo sapiens.

Third, I will compare our behavior. Our character traits are the same as those of a

primates. As a matter of fact, we are primates. All primates are well known for being social,

intelligent, and very good at using their hands. Some non-human primates usually walk upright

on both legs. However, humans are the only primate that always walk on two legs. That makes

us unique among all primates. All primates use tools. Some primates use tools to break open a

nut. The earliest tools were made two point six million years ago. Primates have complex

thoughts and they are good at making a use of things. Primates make all kinds of tools. Some of

these tools are used for hunting. Some primates use sharp for hunting, others use rocks. We, the

most advanced primate, use guns for example. Primates use tools to hunt, or do other things.

Last, many people think oppositely. They say that evolution is nonsense. They say: how

is this possible? It doesn’t make any sense. Archeologists have sweated to prove that evolution is

real, and they deserve some respect! Would you like it, if you poured out all your energy just to

prove one statement, and still have people not believe you? Besides, where is your proof? How

can you prove that evolution isn’t real, especially when scientists have already proved otherwise?

You would have to find an explanation that is stronger than the ones scientists and archeologists

have found. You cannot go around saying that human evolution isn’t real, without any proof.

There has been no found evidence that human evolution isn’t real.

I conclude that we evolve from apes. APes have gone through a process, eight million

years ago, and began to change, little by little. Eight million years later, we have us, the most
advanced ape ever existing. That is what human evolution is; we came from apes. Therefore, I

hereby declare that evolution is real.
